The Position
We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist who is an excellent problem solver, highly technical, & a great communicator. 

This is a partial work from home position. Three days each week you’ll work from our offices in the Crossroads District of Kansas City. Your work week will run Tuesday through Saturday. You’ll be joining an incredible team of talented people. Text In Church was named Inc.’s 2020 Best Workplaces. The hours are semi-flexible and can be discussed in the interview process, but will be full-time.

The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for diagnosing customer issues, providing customers with technical support, and helping church leaders to best utilize our software via chat, email, phone, and video support. 

General Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and manage many open tickets at one time
  • ​Communicate technical knowledge to non-technical customers
  • Respond thoroughly and promptly to customer questions and requests 
  • ​​Leverage product knowledge and technical skills to resolve customer challenges
  • ​​Provide excellent responses to members both written and verbally
  • ​​Help train church leaders to effectively use our products
  • ​​Share product knowledge with prospective members
  • ​​Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and co-workers
  • ​​Provide tech support, including procedural documentation to complex issues
Skills and Attributes
  • Tech Savvy – aptitude for using, learning & teaching online applications
  • Fantastic Multitasker - ability to work quickly, while paying attention to details
  • Problem Solver – takes initiative; able to identify and solve complex problems independently
  • ​​Clear Communication Skills – ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical church leaders both written & verbally
  • ​​Quick Learner – ability to pick up something new and implement
  • ​​Self-Reliant – ability to manage their workload and schedule; self-motivated
Requirements
  • ​Experience with customer support
  • ​Dedicated and distraction-free office space
  • Predictable, high-speed internet access 
  • ​​Full-time position working Tuesday through Saturday

Benefits and Salary
Text In Church offers an excellent benefits package and competitive compensation. Benefits include: 401K with match, profit sharing, health/dental/vision, paid vacation, paid holidays, gym allowance, house cleaning allowance. 

The salary for this position will depend on the level of experience. Salary range $30-40k annually.
