The Position 

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Revenue Operations (Rev Ops) Specialist to join our marketing team. This pivotal role focuses on driving revenue and improving operational efficiency. As the Rev Ops Specialist, you must demonstrate a clear ability to promote revenue growth, diagnose and solve problems, and communicate effectively. This role requires managing the refinement of processes and systems crucial for revenue expansion, collaborating extensively with various teams to pinpoint enhancement opportunities, and deploying innovative solutions.

This position is fully remote, giving you the freedom to work from wherever you feel most inspired! If you happen to be near Kansas City, MO, there's also a chance for hybrid work arrangements, blending the best of home and office environments. The position is full-time with semi-flexible hours, to be discussed during the interview process.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to scrutinize data to detect inefficiencies and potential improvements within the revenue system. You’ll utilize your analytical prowess, make informed decisions, and enact process enhancements to meet our revenue goals. You’ll also oversee adopting and optimizing business systems like CRM, marketing automation, and customer success and support platforms. You’ll ensure these systems are seamlessly integrated and fine-tuned for peak performance while also providing training and support to our team.

General Responsibilities

As a Rev Ops Specialist, your role is integral to our mission of helping churches discover and leverage our platform to foster stronger community relationships. You’ll utilize a strategic approach to aligning sales, marketing, and customer success teams toward a shared revenue goal. This involves integrating data, optimizing reporting, and continuously improving processes.  
  • Explore avenues for increasing revenue, including developing market entry strategies, refining the customer lifecycle, and enhancing sales methodologies.
  • Guide and empower revenue and marketing operations through improved strategy, process, analytics, and tools to help team leaders plan, implement, and evaluate the effects of organizational initiatives.
  • Implement and optimize marketing and prospecting workflows in HubSpot.
  • Track key metrics in HubSpot such as activities, lifecycle stages, prospecting, product-based analytics, deal and close cycles, and stages of lifetime customer value.
  • Continuously monitor revenue metrics with a good understanding of KPIs and how they can be impacted.
  • Develop and maintain HubSpot dashboards, guide the business in accurately understanding spend and outcomes, and construct revenue projections and forecasts to gauge business performance.
  • Collaborate with the executive team as well as customer success, customer support, people operations, product, and marketing to disseminate knowledge and centralize data.
  • Supervise system and data management, advocating for technologies that bolster data accuracy, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
  • Foster strong professional relationships with team members and external partners to support our mission of empowering churches.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations.

Skills and Attributes

We're seeking individuals with strong analytical capabilities who are detail-oriented, excel in collaborative settings with diverse teams, possess strong communication skills, and are adept at handling various tasks at once. The Rev Ops Specialist should have robust technical expertise, including proficiency in analytics and business intelligence and familiarity with CRM and other essential business systems.

  • Analytical - Ability to track metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze them, and turn them into actionable strategies.

  • Presentation skills - Present and share data in a polished, meaningful way, whether it’s a quick email, in-depth report, or presentation deck. Must communicate it in a clear, engaging manner. 
  • Training - Develop new processes and workflows while making them simple to teach and train so they can be effectively implemented.
  • Decision-making - Make data-driven decisions, deferring to concrete information to make judgments and give business guidance. Know when to evaluate, solve, escalate, or hand off to the appropriate team member. 
  • Future-focused - Think two, three, and four steps ahead of decisions, just like a chess player, and anticipate how decisions will affect the organization. 
  • Self-Starter - Motivation to focus on assigned tasks as well as look for other tasks and projects that need to be completed.

Requirements

  • ​​Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. 
  • 4-8+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or business operations, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS business.
  • Deep knowledge of HubSpot as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and administration of it.
  • Demonstrate competency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Sales Velocity tools, Sales/Business Intelligence (BI) software, and Marketing Automation software.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, including Sheets to assess, manipulate, and analyze data.
  • Full-time availability, Monday through Friday.
  • Dedicated home office setup for remote work.

The salary for this position will depend on the level of experience. Salary range $80-95k annually.
