The Position 

We are seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to craft dynamic, brand-aligned digital content across multiple channels, aimed at drawing in pastors and church leaders to our software and brand. This position requires expertise in editing concise videos, utilizing AI tools for enhanced efficiency, creating real-life video content, and overseeing the planning and distribution of this material on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

This role is a hybrid work model. You will spend two days each week at our Crossroads District office in Kansas City, integrating with our exceptional team. The Marketing Content Specialist will collaborate with our Marketing Manager and Content Coordinator to enhance our digital marketing efforts, focusing on helping churches utilize our platform for community engagement. Key responsibilities include managing and optimizing social media campaigns, content creation for various digital channels, and implementing paid social media and email/SMS marketing strategies. This role is crucial in driving lead generation and expanding our online presence.

General Responsibilities

As a Marketing Content Specialist, your role is integral to our mission of helping churches discover and leverage our platform to foster stronger community relationships. You will lead the development and execution of targeted online marketing strategies to increase visibility and engagement, directly contributing to the growth and impact of our platform. Your focus will be on creating and disseminating compelling content across various channels, including emails, social media, blogs, and digital advertising, to attract and retain church communities.
  • Develop and implement effective online marketing strategies to promote platform awareness among churches.
  • Create engaging content for various channels, aimed at enhancing community engagement and platform adoption.
  • ​Optimize digital marketing efforts, including SEO, content strategy, and marketing automation, to drive traffic and conversion.
  • ​Manage and enhance CRM integration and workflows, aligning with the goal of strengthening church-community relationships.
  • Regularly monitor and adjust strategies based on performance metrics, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
  • Foster strong professional relationships with team members and external partners to support our mission of empowering churches.

Requirements

  • ​High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or Communications preferred.
  • ​Minimum 2 years' experience in digital marketing and content creation.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, social media scheduling tools, and Google Suite.
  • Full-time availability, Monday through Friday, with a dedicated home office setup.

The salary for this position will depend on the level of experience. Salary range $38-45k annually.
